It's interesting to note that Urban mentions operating the Bifrost, the magical rainbow bridge which connects Asgard with the other realms, which is typically operated, and closely guarded, by Heimdall ( Idris Elba). Urban wouldn't spill anything else, other than to say that THOR: RAGNAROK is " going to be good." What else would he say? But in this case, I absolutely want to believe that it's true. The journey of Scourge is really “OK, now you made a pact with the devil and it comes with a price.” That price is constantly upped through the movie and that is his journey. My character is operating the Bifrost device and suddenly Cate Blanchett walks through the Bifrost and I very astutely realized I either joined her or die. While speaking with TrekMovie during the Star Trek Las Vegas convention, Karl Urban teased a little about his THOR: RAGNAROK role. The Taika Waititi flick will be bringing a whole new host of cosmic characters along for the ride, including Karl Urban as Skurge. I'm hopeful that the upcoming THOR: RAGNAROK will prove that the third time is indeed the charm, as it's looking like the colourful, intergalactic THOR adventure I've always wanted. Despite loving Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, and the rest of the THOR gang, as well as the world they occupy, neither THOR nor THOR: THE DARK WORLD really got my blood pumping or fully embraced the cosmic potential of the characters. I've mentioned before how the previous THOR movies didn't exactly strike my fancy.
